Retired Mayor Jerry Sanders speaks at NACE

Last week we were invited to document the February meeting of the San Diego chapter of NACE (National Association for Catering and Events). This meeting was especially special because former Mayor Jerry Sanders graciously spoke with us on the eve of the result night in the intense mayoral race this year.

He had a lot of interesting and praise worthy things to say about the accolades of our different industries as well as the potential for growth that is available to us in this great city.

I particularly like two things from his speech:

a) How he say's there is no reason San Diego shouldn't be the wedding capital of the country.

and

b) How awesome he thinks the Craft Beer from our city is.  I happen to agree.

We use a quad-copter drone, outfitted with an HD camera, to soar, over-head to snap photos and record videos- highlighting a locations beauty in ways that most people don't usually get to see. The future is now.

This year we, at Bob Hoffman Video and Photography, couldn't have been more excited for the opportunity to both record and be awarded at the 2013 annual Women Who Mean Business awards!

Each year, the San Diego Business Journal recognizes dynamic women business leaders who have contributed significantly to San Diego’s businesses.  And not to toot our own horn but this year we had one of our very own, Tara Hoffman, join the ranks. She is so happy to be included amongst such lovely and powerful women in this community.

We at Bob Hoffman Video and Photography have a special love for creating videos for Non-Profits that are working hard to help the community and world around them.

San Diego Central Library | Open to the Public September 30, 2013

The long awaited San Diego Central Library opened to the public last week and we couldn't have been more excited to be a part of the celebration. Shortly before the library opened to the public, we had the pleasure of photographing the donor event.

Each attendee was treated to a mini green screen photo shoot as they walked in and presented with a photo of themselves in front of the beautifully designed structure when they left - as a small token of appreciation for what they helped make possible.

The new San Diego Central Library includes 9 stories, on-site parking, a children's area, a teen area, a 350 seat auditorium, six meeting rooms, 3,605 square feet of event space and more. 

Congratulations Eastlake Little League

We love the variety of projects that come our way from all of our favorite clients. This week our entire crew worked EXTREMELY hard to produce a highlight video for the Eastlake Little League welcome home event, put on by the City of Chula Vista Government last night! Even Tony Gwynn & Casey Kelly of the San Diego Padres came out to celebrate and honor these young players.Kudos to the City for making this happen and Congratulations Eastlake, US Champions!!!!!
