Congratulations Leann Pugh!

For the past 10 years BHVP has had a working relationship with Leann Thompson. Leann recently reached out to friends and loved ones for support as she was gearing up to run in her very first half marathon alongside her mother Ruth at Disneyland. She succeeded in raising $1500 for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Leann runs for this cause in memory of her brother Dallas.

The Dallas Pugh Foundation was founded on the principle that when life gets tough, suicide is not the answer. There are numerous organizations and outreach programs that operate under the same principles as the DPF due to rising teen suicide rates in America.

On November 3rd DPF will be holding a Sock Hop fundraiser for the foundation in the newly constructed Dallas Pugh Gymnasium at t he McGrath Family YMCA in Rancho San Diego.
